Hosting & server logs
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA). When you visit the site, the server processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, date and time, the page requested and browser information in order to deliver the website and protect it against misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These log files are kept only briefly and are not combined with any other data.
Vercel is a US company, so a transfer of data to the USA cannot be ruled out. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. In addition, Vercel's Data Processing Addendum, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, applies.
Cookies & statistics
This website does not use cookies or any advertising or retargeting services. That's why there's no cookie banner.
To see which pages are visited and how often, we use Vercel Web Analytics. It records the page visited, the page you came from (referrer), browser, operating system, device type and country. No cookies are set and nothing is stored on your device. Visits are only counted using an anonymous value derived from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours. Your IP address is not stored for this, and we cannot recognise you or follow you across other websites. We only see aggregated figures. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Forms & email
If you contact us via one of our forms (contact, catering, franchise) or by email, we process the details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number and message. We use them solely to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare an offer (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Form data is sent in encrypted form via a server function in Frankfurt (EU) and the email service Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Berlin) to our email inbox and is not stored in a database on the website. We delete enquiries once they have been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods require us to keep them.
To protect against spam, we use an invisible check field and a timing check. We don't use services such as reCAPTCHA for this, so no data is passed on to third parties.
Recipients
Your data is only received by us and by the service providers we need to run the website, who process it on our behalf under Art. 28 GDPR:
- Vercel Inc. – website hosting, forwarding of form submissions and anonymous visitor statistics
- Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Berlin, Germany) – sending form emails to us
- our email provider – receiving and storing your message
We only pass data on to other third parties if we are legally required to do so.
Job applications
We use application data, including your CV, solely for the recruitment process. If you are not hired, we delete it no later than seven months after the process has ended, unless you agree to us keeping it longer for future vacancies.
External links
We link to Google Maps (route planning), Instagram, Facebook and Tripadvisor. These services are only loaded when you click the respective link. From that point on, the provider's own privacy policy applies.
Fonts
All fonts are loaded from our own server. No connection is made to external font providers.
Security
The entire website is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS). Form data is also transmitted in encrypted form and kept only as long as necessary to process it.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where we process data on the basis of legitimate interests, you can object at any time (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. Just email us at hallo@juicefactory.at.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde): Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
Changes
If our website or the services we use change, we will update this privacy policy accordingly. The version published here always applies.
